orn in Melbourne, Australia in 1962, Tim relocated to New York
in 1990. After completing the undergraduate Jazz Studies course
at Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 1986, Tim has since worked
all over the globe in diverse fields of music; as a saxophonist
and woodwind player, composer, teacher, and as a performer
in films, on TV and in the theater.
One career highlight was playing in the
remote highlands (no pun intended) of Papua
New Guinea at an arts festival, with 30
different local tribes including Marlboro
smoking
mud men and cannibals, 900 miles from
the nearest road.
