With a repertoire that ranges from classic
swing to modern and latin jazz,
the blues, soul and beyond, New York City
based band Tim Otto & the Bluetones can provide music for any
type of event in the city or tri-state area.
We've
performed for all sorts of clients (see
sidebar) from a private dinner for the
global heads of Merrill Lynch, to a jazz
trio at MOMA or Restaurant Daniel, to the
launch of This Old House Magazine, to the
author of the Harry Potter book series J.K Rowling's first visit to
New York, and last but not least to
countless weddings in venues large and small
all over town.
We've played for businesses and individuals
at corporate and
private events, parties, product launches and store openings
plus gatherings and celebrations of all types.
We're based in Manhattan and perform all
over New York City, Long Island, the Hudson Valley, New Jersey, Connecticut,
DC, Boston and
beyond.

Led by Australian saxophonist Tim Otto on
saxophone since 1993, Bluetone includes some of the
finest musicians playing in the New York area.
Tim
has performed and recorded with many jazz, blues and
rock bands and performs regularly in New York with Bluetone,
plus with the swing/latin sensations The Last of the
International Playboys, rock band Firewater, 90 year old
blues legend Pinetop Perkins (recent Grammy Lifetime
Achievement award recipient), The Stingers, the Big Apple Circus, plus
many others, including music for film, TV,
and the theatrer.

The group is a quintet
featuring sax, guitar, keyboard, bass and drums, but
we can also provide any size band, smaller or larger
to fit your event and special requests
